Sunroom Wallpaper: Check Light Before Choosing Color

Sunroom Wallpaper: Check Light Before Choosing Color. A sunroom's wallpaper is seen under changing daylight throughout the day.

Design inspiration imagery: York Wallcoverings. Not an ETT completed project.

A sunroom's wallpaper is seen under changing daylight throughout the day. Before choosing a color from a screen, look at a physical sample in the room and consider how windows divide the available wall area.

Watch the light change

Compare the sample in morning and afternoon light and beside the floor and furniture. If direct sunlight reaches the wall, review the exact product guidance for that exposure. Do not assume every wallcovering will retain the same appearance under all conditions.

Measure the actual wall sections

Sketch the windows, trim, and remaining wall surfaces. Discuss whether the design belongs on one solid wall or across several narrow sections. Share room photos and dimensions with the installer so the pattern layout is based on your sunroom's architecture rather than an unrelated styled image.
