Planning Wallpaper for a Powder Room
A compact powder room can make a strong impression with a carefully chosen wallcovering.
Consider the actual conditions
A powder room without a shower has different moisture conditions from a full bathroom. Still, ventilation, splash areas, and the condition of the walls matter. Check the wallcovering manufacturer’s suitability guidance for the space. Wallpaper should not be used as a solution for moisture problems or damaged surfaces.
See the sample beside the fixtures
Hold your sample near the vanity, countertop, faucet finish, and mirror. Look at it with the room’s regular lighting switched on. Small rooms do not automatically require small patterns; a larger design can work when its placement is carefully planned. Decide which parts of the pattern you want to see behind the mirror and around the vanity.
Account for the details
Corners, trim, outlets, and plumbing fixtures affect the installation. Clear photos of every wall help explain the room better than one close-up. Include the ceiling height and the exact product name when requesting a quote. Elliott’s Top Team can review your powder room project and discuss preparation and access before installation.
