Large Wallpaper Patterns: Plan What Furniture Will Hide
Large wallpaper patterns can create a distinctive accent wall, but the full design needs room to be understood.

Large wallpaper patterns can create a distinctive accent wall, but the full design needs room to be understood. Furniture, mirrors, and windows may cover important parts of the composition. Start with a wall sketch before deciding where the pattern belongs.
Place the main objects
Mark the console, bed, or sofa at its actual height and width. Review a full-pattern image as well as a sample so you understand how large motifs repeat. Consider which elements will be visible above and beside the furniture instead of planning for an empty wall.
Discuss the layout early
Ask the installer to review the focal area before cutting and hanging. Provide the exact product information and wall dimensions. A large pattern can still work in a small space, but the decision should be based on the visible composition rather than a blanket rule about room size.
