Getting Your Room Ready for Wallpaper Installation Day
A clear, accessible workspace helps the installation appointment run more smoothly.
Agree on access in advance
Discuss which furniture needs to move and who will move it. Ask about access around the complete wall, including corners and high areas. Keep children and pets away from the work area during the appointment. If the room is part of a business, agree on access hours and how the work area will be separated from customers.
Have the materials ready
Keep the wallcovering, labels, product instructions, and any supplier layout information together. Tell your installer about missing items or delivery concerns before the appointment. Do not substitute adhesives or preparation products without checking the wallcovering requirements and the installation plan.
Coordinate other work
Painting, repairs, electrical work, and furniture deliveries may affect the sequence. Ask what needs to be completed first and what drying or curing requirements apply to the products used.
