Closet wallpaper can be a small, personal detail in a larger home decor plan. The best surface may be a back wall rather than a moving door. Think about visibility, access, and the material's intended use before deciding where to apply it.
Separate walls from moving parts
Measure the visible area behind clothing and shelving. If you want to cover doors, have the exact door surface and product reviewed; a flat painted wall and a moving panel are different applications. Do not infer compatibility from an inspiration image.
Check the installation access
Photograph the closet with doors open and explain what can be removed. Mark tracks, hinges, shelving, and trim. For a quote, specify the surface you want covered and include any existing damage. A clearly defined small project is easier to plan than a request to wallpaper the entire closet.
