Bedroom Wallpaper Behind a Headboard: What to Plan
Bedroom Wallpaper Behind a Headboard: What to Plan. Wallpaper behind a headboard can bring pattern into a bedroom without covering every wall.

Wallpaper behind a headboard can bring pattern into a bedroom without covering every wall. The important interior design decision is how much of the pattern remains visible after the bed, pillows, and bedside lamps are in place.
Measure the furniture first
Record the headboard width and height, then compare them with the full wall. A large motif placed too low may disappear behind the bed. If you plan to change the bed size, settle that choice before discussing the wallpaper layout. Include wall-mounted lighting in the same sketch.
Review the whole arrangement
Stand at the bedroom door and check whether the accent wall feels centered on the bed or on the architecture. These are not always the same. Send the installer a straight-on photo, the chosen wallpaper details, and the final furniture position so the layout can be reviewed before cutting.
